Puma Search for Singapore’s Faas-test man and woman found at Orchard Road
Last weekend, 7 August 2011. The search for Singapore’s FAAS-test man and woman is finally over. Puma had finally found their fastest man and woman to represent Singapore to competes in the World Athletics Championships in Daegu where they will get the opportunity to meet the fastest man in the world, Husain Bolt.
Puma had set up a 30m speed trap for participant to compete to set the fastest timing over last weekend (6th & 7 August) which was held at the Knightsbridge, 270 Orchard Rd. this was also a great opportunity for the public to try on the Puma Faas Range shoes from the Faas250 to Faas500.
After 2days of competing, we finally have our faastest man and woman, Result as follows
Men
1st Place: Muhammad Elfi, 3.58s
2nd Place: Calvin Kang, 3.59s
3rd Place: Izwan Firdaus, 3.72s
Women
1st Place: Nadiah Hussein, 4.19s
2nd Place: Liang Wei, 4.24s
3rd Place: Habibah Najihahbi Bte Ahmad, 4.25s
The first and second runners-up from the male and female categories also walked away with prizes such as $300 and $200 PUMA vouchers respectively. The winners will leave for Korea on 19 August.
Festival of faas was also set up to hype up the atmosphere which feature a “live” reggae band, and the loud cheers of Puma’s ambassadors. Mediacorp stars and Fly Entertainment artistes such as Elvin Ng, Bobby Tonelli, Julian Hee, Jade Seah and Pamelyn Chee were among the celebrity cheerleaders over the two days.
It was such a Faas lively event.
